Club Service Weekly Meeting 02 Rotary Club of Thane Ghodbunder Road Weekly Meeting Report Theme: “चाय, पकौड़े, बारिश… और हम!” Date: 9th July 2026 Venue: Eva World School Despite the monsoon showers, members gathered for a warm and engaging weekly fellowship meeting themed “चाय, पकौड़े, बारिश… और हम!”. The evening beautifully reflected the spirit of Rotary—strengthening friendships over hot tea, delicious pakodas, and meaningful conversations. The meeting was graced by two distinguished guests: Ms. Levia Mathew, who is associated with an NGO dedicated to supporting caregivers through mental health and emotional wellness initiatives. She shared valuable insights into the challenges faced by caregivers and the counselling programs conducted by her organization. During the interaction, the club explored the possibility of collaborating on two impactful community initiatives: * A Mental Health Awareness Webinar for caregivers and the general public. * A Blood Donation Camp, to be jointly organized in the coming months. We also welcomed Mr. Chetan, who manages one of the leading Ghodbunder Road community social media platforms, known for creating awareness campaigns and highlighting important civic and social initiatives. Discussions were held on leveraging his platform to increase the visibility of Rotary’s service projects, community events, and public awareness campaigns, enabling us to reach a larger audience across the Ghodbunder Road community. The meeting concluded with fellowship, networking, and a shared commitment to transform these discussions into impactful service projects. It was an evening that truly embodied Rotary’s spirit of Service Above Self, while celebrating the simple joys of the monsoon with friends.
